Job Overview
The Quotations Specialist is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations, conducting cost analysis, and supporting customers with technical and commercial requirements. The role works closely with Engineering, Operations, Planning, Procurement, and Sales teams to ensure efficient service delivery, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely customer quotations.
- Conduct cost estimation and should-cost analysis for materials, manufacturing, and machining processes.
- Develop and maintain product cost models and standardized quotation processes.
- Support sourcing and supplier negotiations through detailed cost analysis.
- Collaborate with customers to identify requirements and recommend solutions.
- Resolve customer inquiries and technical issues while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate tool deliveries, returns, and operational support with internal teams.
- Monitor operating hours and maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Analyze production data, identify improvement opportunities, and support process optimization.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cost estimation and quotation management.
- Experience with manufacturing processes, materials, and machining operations.
- Hands-on experience with Apriori, CAD software, and ERP systems (JDE).
- Strong English communication skills.
