Role Overview:The Quotation Specialist I supports the Sales and Sales Engineering teams by preparing accurate and timely quotations for standard and low-complexity opportunities. This role focuses on pricing execution, vendor coordination, and quote documentation while developing foundational technical and commercial skills.
- Prepare quotes for standard and low-complexity opportunities using established pricing tools and templates
- Review RFQs, specifications, and BOMs for completeness and accuracy
- Issue RFQs to vendors and compile pricing, lead time, and availability inputs
- Coordinate internally with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to support quote development
- Maintain accurate quote documentation, pricing records, and revision history
- Support Sales Engineers with complete, well-organized quote packages
- Escalate pricing or scope questions outside defined guidelines for review
- 1–2 years of experience in quoting, estimating, sales operations, or manufacturing support roles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working in ERP, CPQ, or CRM systems
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: Manufacturing, industrial, or engineering-related background (not required)
Works within defined pricing guidelines and approval thresholds. No independent pricing authority.
Prepares the individual for progression into Quotation Specialist II.
The base pay range for this role is $70,304 – $85,000 per year.
