Responsibilities
- Review alignment maps to identify pipeline assets and associated surface and grantor information.
- Plot legal descriptions using deed plotting software.
- Link digital land agreements and supporting documents to the appropriate GIS parcel(s) and as-built alignment sheets.
- Verify the accuracy of parcel mapping and ensure land records are properly associated with the correct properties.
- Audit, maintain, and update land records within the company's land management system.
- Verify Grantor/Grantee information, recording details, legal descriptions, tract information, affected assets, and related provisions.
- Ensure land records are complete, accurate, and consistently maintained.
- Review, organize, and classify land documents, including Pipeline easements, Deeds, Real property leases, Permits, Ordinances, and assignments.
- Ensure digital files are accurately indexed and linked to the appropriate parcels and land assets.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of digital and physical land files.
- Conduct basic title reviews to validate ownership and land information.
- Support data conversion efforts by identifying and resolving inconsistencies across land records.
- Assist with additional land records projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with land records administration, land documentation, or land data management, preferably supporting pipeline or utility projects.
- Demonstrated experience linking land documents to the appropriate parcel(s) within GIS or other complex land management systems.
- Experience interpreting and mapping legal descriptions, plats, alignment sheets, and surface ownership information.
- Working knowledge of land title concepts and land agreements, including easements, deeds, permits, ordinances, leases, and assignments.
- Experience using GIS software (ESRI products or similar), Google Earth, deed plotting software, or comparable land mapping applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work on-site in Houston, Texas. This is an on-site position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Quorum, On Demand Land, or other enterprise land management systems.
- Previous experience supporting land data conversion or migration projects.
- Background in pipeline, oil & gas, utilities, or right-of-way land records.

- Proven experience in land records administration and documentation for pipeline systems

- High attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, ability to handle confidential information
- In-office presence in Houston, TX (on-site required)
- Specific hands-on experience with Quorum On Demand Land
