Position - Data Engineer
Experience Required: Min 4 – 8 years

We are seeking an experienced data engineer who is comfortable with implementing ETL, automation, modeling, and working with large datasets in a fast-paced team with data architects, business SMEs, and technical developers. The data engineer will use Talend and
Snowflake primarily, understand and reverse engineer Alteryx workflows, and follow the principles of Data Vault modeling. Knowledge of Data Vault design methodology, Data Ops, Monte Carlo, similar tools, and Snowflake will be essential.
Key responsibilities:
· Breakdown requirements, understand logical data models and deliver robust data pipelines (ETL) to specifications
· Extraction of data from APIs (REST, SOAP, etc) with a sound understanding of pagination techniques.
· Own development artifacts and follow established dev, test, and deployment principles and processes
· Ensure the build meets the stated design and specifications
· Ensure all development, flows and designs are documented, communicated, updated, and managed in an appropriate manner
What we're looking for:
· An experienced Data Engineer with strong implementation experience and expertise, especially using Snowflake technology
· Experienced in modern cloud-based data architecture (Talend/Snowflake including SQL)
· Implementation experience in Snowflake data warehousing projects
· Expertise in ETL and scheduling tools
· Experienced in Talend or similar (e.g. DBT)
· Understanding of Alteryx Workflows and recreating it using Talend components
· Python experience recommended
· AWS S3/Lambda/Glue/Dev-Ops (AWS data-engineering exposure, hands-on experience)
· Experienced with CICD pipelines, and working and deploying in large delivery teams
· Self-driven and constantly striving to improve delivery
· Knowledge of the Data Mesh framework and associated concepts will be a plus
· Optional: Digital Media and Marketing Services experience
Skills Required
- 4-8 years of data engineering experience
- Expertise with Snowflake and implementation experience in Snowflake data warehousing projects
- Hands-on experience with Talend or similar ETL tools (e.g., DBT)
- Knowledge of Data Vault design methodology and Data Vault modeling
- Experience with Data Ops tools (e.g., Monte Carlo) or similar
- Ability to understand and recreate Alteryx workflows using Talend components
- Experience building ETL pipelines, scheduling tools, and working with large datasets
- Experience extracting data from APIs (REST, SOAP) including pagination techniques
- Strong SQL skills
- Hands-on AWS data engineering experience (S3, Lambda, Glue, DevOps exposure)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment in large delivery teams
- Python experience
- Knowledge of Data Mesh framework and associated concepts
- Digital media and marketing services experience
