We’re looking for a Quarries Project Manager to join our team in Canterbury. You’ll lead quarry project delivery, coordinate people and contractors, and keep programmes moving safely and efficiently, helping us deliver the materials and infrastructure our communities rely on.

This is a key project leadership role where you’ll manage quarry-related projects from planning through to delivery across a multi-site environment. You’ll work closely with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders to keep projects on track, manage risk, and deliver good outcomes safely, on time and to a high standard. It’s a role with real ownership, real variety, and real impact. We’re after someone who can bring structure, momentum and low-ego leadership to the job.

- Lead the planning and delivery of quarry projects from scope through to completion.
- Coordinate Internal teams, contractors and suppliers to keep work moving safely and efficiently.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and reporting with a clear focus on delivery.
- Build strong working relationships with site teams, operational leaders and key stakeholders.
- Ensure work is completed in line with safety, quality and environmental expectations.
- Identify opportunities to improve how work gets done and back smarter ways of delivering results.

- A-Grade Quarry Manager CoC (or working towards).
- Proven experience managing projects in quarrying or a related operational environment.
- Strong project planning, coordination and delivery capability.
- Sound commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, timeframes and contractors.
- A collaborative, team-focused style with the confidence to build strong relationships across site and office environments.
- A proactive and accountable approach, with the ability to make decisions and keep things moving.
- A strong commitment to safety, wellbeing and high standards when it counts.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
