We are now looking for a Quantum Research Scientist!
NVIDIA’s Quantum Research team is seeking a Quantum Research Scientist to work in our newly-formed Quantum Research team. The Quantum Research team explores novel approaches to integrate world-class NVIDIA multi GPU architectures with state-of-the-art and near-term quantum computers. Our team also explores the connections of AI with many-body models such as quantum chemistry. The Quantum Research Scientist will help develop quantum algorithms at the interface of artificial intelligence and many-body physics models. They will also develop applications of these models to both classical and quantum computers.
What You'll Be Doing:

Advance the state-of-the-art of AI-driven quantum algorithms

Explore and develop fundamental and applied quantum algorithms

Present at relevant scientific, technical and industry conferences.
What We Need To See:
-
A PhD Degree in Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience)

Background in Quantum Information Science with expertise in one of the following: quantum chemistry, quantum machine learning, or applied quantum algorithms.

3+ years or work or research experience in Quantum Computing.

World-class communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:

Experience with GPU computing.

Experience in software systems development.

Hands-on experience in scientific computing, high-performance computing, applied machine learning, or deep learning.

The base salary range is 232,500 CAD - 403,000 CAD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
