DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Structure problems and develop analytical frameworks while addressing business and technical risks. Use analytical tools such as trend analysis, segmentation, optimization, and other techniques to improve business function performance. Contribute to business cases, construct test designs, and identify populations for pilot programs. Analyze program performance and derive insights to help inform future customer strategies. Aid demand mitigation programs by providing data and analytics support across the servicing organization. Analyze customer interactions and events across a variety of channels (calls, branch, online, mobile) to better understand customer journeys and friction points. Communicate effectively with senior leaders to enable collaboration, decision-making, and transparency. Analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively and confidently with relevant stakeholders to influence and gain buy-in across various job functions. Support and drive partnerships with key ops stakeholders and ops product groups by utilizing knowledge of business drivers, underlying data, and processes. Drive development and reporting of ops performance metrics and KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Senior Data Analyst - Predictive Analytics and Insights, Decision Scientist, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Senior Data Analyst - Predictive Analytics and Insights, Decision Scientist, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: creating dashboards and visualizations to measure the impact of implemented products; providing management with self-service tools to explore and report on current trends of key metrics; delivering analytics solutions following an Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodology; collaborating with area product owners to formulate quantifiable goals for measurement; advising on strategies and experimentation needed to achieve business goals; performing analysis to improve business function performance by leveraging standard data analytics tools and technologies including SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, and using the following functions in Microsoft Excel: Conditional Formatting, Charting, Pivot Tables, and Pivot Reporting; performing data mining leveraging statistical modeling, machine learning, and other advanced analytics methods including Data Mining, Segmentation, Time series, Correlation, Cluster analysis, and Regression; writing and executing data extraction, summarizing code, and automating processes to source, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources; preparing and delivering presentations summarizing insights and conclusions for senior level stakeholders such as executives in regularly-scheduled analytics meetings chaired by the analyst; developing and implementing reporting of ops performance metrics and KPIs.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
