Collaborate with marketing managers and leverage your skills in SAS and SQL to make a difference.
As an Audience Management Analyst within the Data & Analytics department, you will develop and generate list reports to support marketing and servicing campaigns. You will work closely with Program/Marketing managers to gather business requirements and create program specifications. Your role is crucial in ensuring compliance and process adherence. Your expertise in data analysis will drive strategic decisions and enhance customer engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop SAS/SQL code to define populations for campaigns.
- Collaborate with business partners using analytics and data insights for marketing strategy.
- Manage attribute logic and research new data elements for targeting.
- Produce data validations on campaign populations to ensure marketing requirements are met.
- Identify correlations and trends in data, and communicate impacts that could affect campaign results.
- Participate in quality code reviews and identify issues for correction or improvement.
- Identify and implement ideas for global process improvements to increase department efficiency.
- Represent the Audience Targeting area in technical meetings with IT and other areas.
- Mentor new and junior Audience Targeting resources.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of technical experience or Master's degree with 1-3 years of experience in Computer Science, Technology Management, Statistics, or Math
- Advanced coding skills in SAS and SQL
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle and Teradata
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal communication and correspondence skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and ability to prioritize
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience with other programming languages (e.g., VB, VBA, Java, Perl, Python, C++, Unix shell scripting)
- Background in marketing operations, direct marketing, or data analysis
- Result-oriented with a proactive approach to resolving problems
- Ability to articulate the causes of issues and escalate concerns when necessary
