Quality Systems Engineering Internship
Scot Forge Company is looking to hire one Quality Systems Engineer Intern for the Summer of 2027 at the corporate facility in Spring Grove, IL. A quality internship provides experience with exposure to our manufacturing processes and procedures in addition to applying various engineering principles. This internship is an office position located in the Spring Grove, IL corporate headquarters.
Anticipated Projects include:
- Develop proficiency in production certification review and creation process
- Collaborate with stakeholders of Quality and IT teams utilizing problem solving tools to drive continuous improvement and automation of ERP processes and procedures. This may include dimensional inspection digitalization.
- Exposure to PPAP and First Article processes
- Review and alignment of procedures and training documentation including code of conduct. Help to develop and update procedures by gathering and including tribal knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or related
- Rising Junior or higher at start of internship
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.

The estimated pay range for this position is the lowest and highest range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. The actual base pay offered to a candidate will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, geographic location and prevailing minimum wage, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
