The Role

We are seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to championed compliance and drive continual improvement across our Quality Management Systems (QMS). In this role, you will be a key player in maintaining our high standards, navigating diverse regulatory landscapes, and ensuring our processes are robust and future-proof.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit Leadership: Lead, manage, and participate in internal and external audits (including customer visits, regulatory inspections, and registrar/certification audits). You will also oversee the creation and maintenance of our internal audit schedule.

  • CAPA Management: Support and coordinate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to ensure swift resolution, robust follow-through, and transparent reporting to leadership.

  • Continuous Improvement & Special Projects: Drive QMS enhancements by assisting with process validations and critical documentation (e.g., assembly build instructions, device travelers, certificates of compliance, DMRs, and DHRs).

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay ahead of ever-changing industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will help establish regulatory guidelines across various market sectors and collaborate with site quality managers to ensure regional compliance.

  • Standard Mastery: Work closely with frameworks such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS 9100, Nadcap, and ISO 14001.

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Support the design and implementation of the quality system while effectively communicating regulatory requirements to internal stakeholders.

Education & Experience:

  • Preferred: A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience.

  • Equally Valued: We welcome applications from candidates with an equivalent, proven combination of education and hands-on industry experience.

  • Mindset: Self-motivated, proactive, and equally comfortable working independently or collaborating in a team environment.

  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable steps.

  • Technical Aptitude: Excellent problem-solving abilities, sharp attention to detail, and solid computer literacy.

  • Bonus Points: Project management experience and prior knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 are a distinct advantage (but not a dealbreaker!).
