Job DescriptionThis role offers a starting range of $75,000 to $80,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.
The Quality Systems Coordinator (QSC) directs the quality program at the branch. This individual organizes and facilitates meetings, leads the Quality Council, and monitors and advances the quality improvement efforts of the branch. In this role, the QSC acts as the QMS “champion” and will be the driving force to keep everyone on track. The QSC is responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality system at their plant, including training and all quality activities, by performing the following duties:
- Directing the quality program at the branch, facilitating meetings, and leading Quality Council and TPM Steering Committees
- Implementing and maintaining the quality system, including training and documentation
- Communicating, maintaining and generating all reports for the TPM Plant Board
- Managing corrective and preventive actions and customer reports
- Conducting internal ISO and compliance audits for the plant
- Running SAP reports
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have an associate’s degree from a 2-year college (preferred); or have related experience and/or training; or have an equivalent combination of both
- Have the demonstrated ability to multitask, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and manage projects
- Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Have strong organization and time management skills
- Have excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills, and be a strong facilitator
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:
- Experience with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, and ISO culture
- Knowledge of the ink and print industry
- Experience as a trainer
- Knowledge of SAP
