Job Description

As a Quality Systems Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our Quality Management System (QMS) is up-to-date, consistent, and aligned with industry standards and customer requirements. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver top-quality products and maintain strong relationships with our customers and stakeholders.
The role can be based at any of our Valeo Foods UK sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve the central Quality Management System (QMS) to meet customer and BRC requirements.
- Support site teams in implementing and complying with the QMS, customer policies, and regulations.
- Manage documentation processes and ensure the issuance of quality-related policies.
- Conduct regular retailer gap analyses and update the QMS accordingly.
- Standardize QMS documents across manufacturing sites for consistency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
- Support site teams during customer visits and audits, ensuring compliance.
- Provide guidance on customer standards and requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and support teams with non-conformances.
- Identify opportunities to reduce paperwork and promote a paper-free environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Degree or equivalent in Food Science or related discipline, or relevant experience with QMS and retailer systems.
- Experience in FMCG or similar environment.
- Level 3 food safety certification.
- Intimate knowledge of customer codes of practice and legal requirements, with experience in conducting gap analyses.
- Full UK driving license.
