POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting ReadyOne Industries’ mission and the AbilityOne program by overseeing quality control activities to ensure products meet established standards, specifications, and customer requirements. This position supervises inspection teams, drives continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

▸  Supervise quality inspectors and ensure effective and consistent inspection processes across all product lines.

▸  Develop and maintain quality standards, procedures, and inspection criteria in alignment with customer and regulatory requirements.

▸  Monitor product quality throughout production and address issues promptly to minimize defects and rework.

▸  Analyze quality data and identify trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

▸  Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues.

▸  Collaborate with production teams to improve product quality, reduce defects, and support operational efficiency.

▸  Train and coach employees on quality standards, inspection procedures, and compliance expectations.

▸  Investigate and resolve customer quality concerns and complaints in a timely and effective manner.

▸  Ensure compliance with company policies and quality management systems.

▸  Maintain accurate quality documentation and reporting for leadership and audit purposes.

▸  Support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness across the quality department.

▸  Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams.

▸  Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Quality Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Quality and works closely with production teams, quality inspectors, engineering, and cross-functional departments to support product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across ReadyOne Industries’ manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

▸  High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience

▸  Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of quality or manufacturing experience, including supervisory responsibilities required.

▸  Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills required.

▸  Ability to interpret specifications and technical documents required.

▸  Basic computer skills required.

▸  Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

▸  Frequently stands, walks, bends, and reaches throughout the shift.

▸  Ability to sit or stand for extended periods as needed.

▸  Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

▸  Manufacturing environment with regular exposure to production machinery, noise, and materials.

▸  Frequent interaction with production staff, quality inspectors, and cross-functional teams.

▸  Fast-paced environment requiring strong leadership, analytical skills, and consistent adherence to quality and safety standards.
