As part of Osmose's expanding Quality team, we are seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist I to support our commitment to excellence in utility infrastructure services. This field-based role is integral to our quality operations, working directly with field operations to ensure the inspection and testing activities defined by the Osmose Quality Standards, Customer Quality Plan, and contractual requirements ensure that all work performed has for the client has met and exceeded industry standards, and client expectations.

This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality, helping to identify opportunities for improvement and ensuring that our services not only meet contractual requirements but consistently exceed client expectations. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on infrastructure, quality and reliability while contributing to our company's continued growth and success in the utility services industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Conduct thorough quality control audits of utility structures following inspection and restoration work

· Verify that all field work has been completed according to established specifications and procedures

· Review and audit job books for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual and company standards

REQUIREMENTS

· Experience in utility operations, construction, or related field

· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

· Driver’s License

· Completion of QC Auditor Training Program or 1 year previous QC experience

PREFERRED

· Relevant certifications

· Previous experience with utility structures inspection or maintenance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. The position may also require the employee to occasionally bend, crouch, kneel, squat, stoop, reach, lift up to 25 pounds, and work with or around chemicals.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Position requires working in outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, freezing temperatures, and uneven terrain. The employee may also be exposed to preservatives, coatings, chemical substances, concrete, energized electrical conductors and equipment.

TRAVEL

Domestic travel typically involves 1-4 nights away at a time Monday-Friday with occasional extended travel up to 10
