Quality Specialist, Lead

We are looking for a Quality Specialist, Lead to join our Houston (Pearland) team!

This person provides technical leadership for quality assurance, inspection, and verification activities throughout development, production, testing, and product acceptance processes.

Leads quality improvement initiatives, supports audit programs, and serves as a primary quality resource for resolving complex product and process quality issues.

Location: Houston, TX – Pearland

Hourly Rate: $30-$35/hour

Your Challenge

  • Lead quality assurance and inspection activities to ensure products, processes, and testing activities consistently meet quality, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze inspection and test results, identify quality trends, and lead corrective and preventive action activities to improve process capability and product quality.
  • Partner with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Inspection teams to implement inspection improvements, support new product introductions, and resolve complex quality issues.
  • Lead system audits, process audits, and quality compliance activities while maintaining quality documentation and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive quality assurance, quality control, inspection, or manufacturing experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of quality systems, auditing, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience leading quality improvement and corrective action initiatives.
  • Proficiency interpreting complex engineering drawings, schematics, and process documentation.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards such as Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100 or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001.
  • Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
