Quality Specialist Job Requirements
This is a support position with a focus on Internal Quality.
Inspection Responsibility
-
Responsible for 0-180 Day inspections

Responsible for periodic damping force testing

Responsible for Japan Shipment Inspections
Support Customer/Internal Engineer

Support data collection for Customer/Internal Claims
-
Assist with documentation for Change Point Control
-
Perform testing for Production Quality Issues
-
Assist with sorting parts
-
Pick up parts from customer
Support New Model
-
Assist w/collecting PPAP requirements
-
Assist with collecting data for Supplier Improvement Metrics
-
SCCAF, Performance Matrix
-
Assist with collecting data for Measurement Analysis Studies
-
Gage R&R Studies, Dimensional Layout, Capability Studies
-
Annual Layout Inspection
Support Supplier Engineers

Audit supplied parts, as directed
-
Validate new parts at New Model start-up

Support part testing, as directed

Support supplier NG product sorting
Support Warranty Engineer

Assist with Warranty Part Return preparation for analysis

Assist with Warranty Analysis – testing of parts

Pick up parts from customer

Manage scrap & cardboard recycling bins

Assist with Cleaning in each of the Quality Areas
