Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality and Safety Supervisor to lead quality activities across our steel and polymer manufacturing plants in Morocco. This role is responsible for driving quality performance, supporting safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with standards, and strengthening management systems across both operations.

We are seeking a candidate with experience in both steel and polymer manufacturing, with a strong preference for deep technical knowledge of polymer production. The ideal person will have a solid background in quality, preferably combined with safety experience, and proven ability to lead people, coordinate Quality Supervisors in production, and deliver effective training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and continuously improve quality assurance programs, product quality standards, control plans, and quality processes across both plants.
  • Support and reinforce safety initiatives in partnership with plant leadership and operational teams.
  • Advise plant leadership on quality-related issues, compliance, risk reduction, and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate and support the work of Quality Supervisors within production.
  • Maintain and improve plant-wide Quality Management Systems, including audits, documentation, corrective actions, and system effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and support audit readiness.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to improve product quality and process performance.
  • Lead investigations into major quality issues involving customers, suppliers, and internal operations, and ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Oversee testing, inspection, certification, and documentation activities related to product and system compliance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and quality tools.
  • Deliver training, coaching, and mentoring on quality standards, safety practices, systems, and best practices.
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions and presentations for plant teams.
  • Manage people responsibilities including coaching, development, performance management, and team engagement.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
  • ISO 9001 certification is required.
  • Typically 5–10 years of relevant experience in quality within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in both polymer and steel manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Deep technical knowledge of polymer manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a people leadership role is required.
  • Experience coordinating quality activities in production is required.
  • Safety experience is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong expertise in quality assurance and quality control in manufacturing.
  • Good understanding of polymer and steel production processes, with stronger technical depth in polymer preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, audits, documentation, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 and its application in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methods, and statistical quality tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging training.
  • Good project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with testing and inspection equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Willingness to travel within Morocco as needed.
