The Role
As part of Finance's Billing and Reporting team supporting Software & Services (S&S) function, you'll be a key member of the cross-functional team executing General Motors' Connected Vehicle and Subscribe strategies. The team defines, configures, tests, triages our global OnStar billing and reporting solutions to support our numerous S&S stakeholders around the globe, including Finance, Accounting, Tax, and several others. We work diligently to ensure that quality data is provided to our stakeholders so that S&S can maximize its subscription revenue and EBIT opportunities in North America, Europe, South America, the Middle East and around the globe. The most recently supported projects include Super Cruise, Shopify integration, OnStar new product catalog and global launches. What You'll Do
- Leverage new tools and technologies to drive automation and increase controls in our billing systems and processes
- Drive further automation in execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for financial reporting and billing applications
- Work with key stakeholders to better support reporting requirements and optimal delivery methods utilizing AI for increased data insights
- Work closely with Enterprise Subscription Billing (ESB) team, defining tests for feature acceptance criteria and production bug triages
- Define strategy and execute launch of new countries/regions into our reporting and billing ecosystems as they are launched
- Supports automation of ad-hoc analysis and special project reports, such as new business development data and tax/compliance audit reports
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- 2+ years relevant experience
- SQL development and authoring experience required
- Experience with subscription billing concepts/processes and managing large datasets (e.g. Cognos, Toad/SQL Developer, Databricks, Datadog)
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems within a cross-functional team
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks to align with department and program initiatives
- Comfortable with both team-based project work as well as independent project management
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience deploying innovative billing solutions supporting subscription services
- Demonstrated ability to leverage new tools/technologies to support data integrity in reporting
- Ability to work independently, think critically to overcome challenges and deliver quality output
- Zuora Cloud Billing, or other billing/accounting system experience a plus
- Basic understanding of Finance concepts and/or accounting principles
Location: This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of (Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Milford or Mountain View), you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.
Compensation:

- The salary range for this role is $71,300 - $109,400. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
