The Role

This role is responsible for managing quality projects from planning through implementation and maximizing efficiency of the Regulatory and Quality Department.  Creates project plans, identifies and secures resources and implements projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes project management methodologies to develop and maintain project documentation to specifically address project scope, deliverables, project plans, resource usage, issue tracking and status reports for multiple and/or large, complex projects.
  • Serve as key contact and lead core project team(s) to facilitate the project team’s ability to deliver the planned result(s), ensuring effective cross-functional teamwork among project team members which may include both internal and external stakeholders. Develops and manages high performance project management teams through the provision of coaching and or formal training as necessary.
  • Evaluates project risks, develops contingency plans, and responds to changes in risk as the project progresses.
  • Develops escalation process to channel issues and concerns to Management and appropriate parties.
  • Oversee the implementation of the projects focused on timeframes, budget requirements and quality.
  • Coordinates activities and ensures effective communication within project teams.  Leads meetings and facilitates effective communications to drive decisions and action items.  Ensures project teams have the necessary skills and experience to complete projects successfully.
  • Manages project stakeholders, including core team, steering committees and vendors as applicable and others.
  • Effectively manages multiple priorities, initiatives and projects.
  • Provides regular reports and project status updates to management, stakeholders and others.  Highlights successes, concerns, milestones, resolved issues and other important information.  Documents process standards as required.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Project Management in a Regulated Industry

Experience may be substituted for education.

Preferred Qualifications:

•            Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills. 

•            Familiarity with status tracking, KPI monitoring, and use of visual tools for stakeholder communication.

•            Able to prioritize high-impact work, foresee compliance risks, and align projects to business objectives.

•            Clear and concise verbal and written communication.

•            Proven ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams including Regulatory, QA, R&D, Clinical, Operations, and external partners.

Application Window: Monday, August 18th

Pay Range: $85,000 to $135,000/annually

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.  Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.  For more detailed information, please click here
