Role Summary:
The Senior Quality Planning Engineer should provide facility support in the development, maintenance, improvement, and management of the QMS, and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. He should Own the Quality Planning at the facility. He should ensure customer requirements implementation are effectively planned, and ensure that the operations, material control, and processes satisfy customer and Flowserve requirements. He shall report on quality KPI’s, customer problem resolution status, conducting and supporting ISO9001 internal, external and supplier audits as deemed necessary.
The Quality Planning Engineer should execute the supporting activities of measuring and improving products quality and business processes. The right candidate should have direct experience in Pump's OEM industry and should have QMS auditing experience and data analysis skills. The Quality Planning Engineer reports directly to the Quality Manager.
Your Role:
Review All Technical and Quality requirements as per Material Requisition (MR) during bidding and post-bidding stages.
Responsible of Quality requirements realization and transfer them from Customer to Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing processes.
Ensure all quality requirements are carefully reviewed and embedded in Design and Procurement processes.
Review all Purchase Order (PO’s) with all technical information from material Requisition prior PO issuance.
Participate in Project Phase-Gates 1, 2, etc... and present quality risks if any.
Prepare and issue the Project’s ITP at frontend to ensure smooth Item codes creation with all quality requirements.
Assist in reviewing suppliers’ approval status prior PO placement as per project sub-vendor list.
Coordinate between the Vendors, Manufacturers, Third Party Inspector (TPI), and Client for Pre-inspection Meeting (PIM).
Attending the PIM & KOM with the Vendors/ Suppliers to discuss all quality requirements and procurement issues as well as required documentation.
Participate in reviewing the NMR 601 documents when advised by Quality Manager.
Assist in reviewing all Supplier’s Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and applicable Procedures (NDT, Welding, Painting, hydro test, etc..) prior submission to customers for further approval when advised by Quality Manager.
Review and analysis the NCRs issued during Design/Engineering and provide correction and corrective actions.
Review and follow-up on NCRs issued against suppliers to ensure none-recurrence.
Shall Manages PFMEAs & Inspection Control Plans
Shall lead Problem Solving for RCA and CA.
Identify areas of improvement (internal, external and supplier) and develop quality improvement programs utilizing quality tools and statistical techniques.

Your profile:
B.Sc. in Engineering field (manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical)
Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant quality experience preferably in Pump's OEM environment.
Must be certified internal/Lead Auditor 9001:2015
Must have experience in project Engineering and procurement cycle.
Should have participated in at least 2 full cycle Audits.
Proficient in corrective action request management, RCA, and CAPA tools
Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques
Skilled in Team Oriented 8D Problem Solving
Must possess Knowledge of welding and NDE
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Full professional proficiency in English. Fluent in business conversation.
Preferred Qualification / Skills
Certified quality Engineer (CQE)
Certified Lean six sigma blackbelt (LSSBB)
Knowledge of the established quality standards, laws, and regulations of national and international authorities.
knowledge of inspection equipment found in machining, assembly and test operations of pumps and associated accessories.
