Skills Required
- Create measurement programs from drawings, MBD or without CAD for coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Experience creating work orders in relevant manufacturing/quality software
- Translate CMM results and provide functional support to technical departments
- Prepare initial-sample test reports per VDA and PPAP templates
- Advise on selection of test equipment and methods, including Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR)
- Amend standardized FMEA to local circumstances in consultation with technical departments
- Perform and document MSAs (Measuring System Analyses) per control plan requirements
