Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead investigations related to customer complaints, product nonconformances, and quality incidents.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented and sustained.
- Direct daily operations of the Quality Control Laboratory.
- Ensure laboratory testing is conducted accurately, safely, and in accordance with established procedures.
- Oversee laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and validation programs.
- Review and approve quality testing results and related documentation.
- Ensure laboratory personnel are properly trained and qualified.
- Lead internal, customer, supplier, and third-party audits.
- Coordinate responses to audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with applicable industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present audit results, quality metrics, and compliance reports to leadership.
- Support new product development, product improvements, and formulation changes.
- Ensure product testing, validation, and commercialization activities meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to support successful product launches and process improvements.
- Supervise, coach, and develop Quality Control.
- Conduct performance evaluations and establish employee development plans.
- Develop and deliver quality-related training programs.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Experience/Skills/Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing technical, laboratory, or quality teams.
- Experience managing quality systems, laboratory operations, and audit programs.
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and root cause investigations.
- Experience supporting product development and R&D activities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and auditing principles.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and manufacturing quality practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
- Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality data analysis tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
