ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Quality/Safety Responsibilities

• Oversees facility quality control and safety programs to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and OSHA/government regulations.

• Conducts quality inspections, safety audits, and compliance reviews to maintain operational and regulatory standards.

• Monitors and drives quality and safety KPI performance, including error rates, defect trends, audit scores, and incident metrics.

• Investigates product defects, operational errors, and workplace incidents to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.

• Leads initiatives to improve quality performance, operational processes, and team member efficiency.

• Ensures compliance with site process matrices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and SHARP (Ship, Handle and Receive Properly) processes, including annual certification.

• Coordinates Safety Committee meetings and promotes a proactive safety culture throughout the facility.

• Partners with site leadership to identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventative safety measures.

• Develops and coordinates safety training and workforce development programs.

• Collaborates with regional sites to share best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensures team members have the tools, resources, and updated documentation necessary to perform their duties effectively.

• Participates in trial testing, performance reporting, workshop action plans, and other continuous improvement projects.

• Maintains reliable attendance and performs all duties in accordance with company safety and security standards.

• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

· Attendance - Ability to work required schedule and arrive at work on time. Ability and willingness to work the voluntary/mandatory overtime that is required during the busy season. Ability to work all shifts – days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

· Language – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, Team Members and management.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

· Experience: Three (3) years related experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.

· Computer Skills: Intermediate computer or tablet skills.

Qualifications Skills Preferred Warehouse Intermediate Behaviors Preferred Thought Provoking: Capable of making others think deeply on a subject Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Leader: Inspires teammates to follow them Education Preferred High School or better.
