Your tasks
Responsibilities
1. Participate in new supplier introducing in and development related activity.
2. Execute supplier yearly assessment activity based on plan, ensure supplier have good management system result in good quality.
3. Functional Development:Set up and perform the supplier qualification procedures & processes and ensure proactively work on the team’s development towards Sourcing Excellence.
4. Risk Management: Lead and perform Risk Assessment for Kardex Remstar APAC Supply Chain.
5. Push and co-work with suppliers to resolve quality issues, especially repeated issues, critical issues.
6. Train suppliers mainly focus on quality management systems and measure methods.
7. Make on-site inspection, provide process inspection reports and final inspection reports, make final decision and create regarding files in quality database; Mainly welding/ machining/ casting/painting products.
8. Coach the supplier to do the corrective and preventive actions, ensure supplier’s quality meets the company’s requirements.
9. Assess quality risk of purchasing projects;/ Make quality control plan for each purchasing project;/ Check and approve quality documents by suppliers, i.e. certificate of raw material, dimension inspection report, NDT report, painting report.
10. Monitor supplier production progress and project delivery.
Requirements
1. Mechanical manufacturing/ engineering/ automation education background to ensure he/she can understand the basic knowledge of mechanical parts and the technical drawings.
2. Have awareness of ISO 9001 & ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 quality system.
3. Highly English and communicative skills. Handle lots of internal communications with the factory dealing with quality claim.
4. Proficiency in office software (word/excel/power point)
5. Experience of quality inspection will be preferred.
6. More than 5 years work experience.
7. Strong problem-solving skills including with different tools (six sigma, APQP,PPAP, …);
8. Solid supplier quality working experience.
