What you'll do:
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining the company Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and internal processes. This role will work closely with the external Quality Consultant to support ongoing compliance, strengthen quality practices, and enhance system maturity. The Quality Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives, oversee audits, manage non-conformance processes, and promote a solid quality culture across the company. As a key support to the senior management team, the Quality Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of high quality products/services that meet customer and regulatory expectations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Quality Management System
- Maintain, develop, and continuously improve the QMS in accordance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and any industry specific requirements
- Ensure policies, procedures, and processes are up to date, documented, and effectively communicated
Auditing and Compliance
- Plan, schedule, and lead internal audits
- Coordinate external audits (certification bodies, customers, regulators) and ensure all corrective actions are completed
- Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
Continuous Improvement
- Lead/Support quality improvement projects
- Review quality performance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement
- Implement/Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and track effectiveness
Non-Conformance and Risk Management
- Oversee the non conformance process, ensuring issues are logged, investigated, resolved, and prevented from recurring
- Maintain risk registers and support risk assessments related to quality
Training and Culture
- Provide training and guidance on quality processes, tools, and standards
- Promote a proactive quality culture across all levels of the company
- Support teams to embed best practice and drive behavioural change where necessary
Customer and Supplier Quality
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality related matters
- Monitor quality performance of key suppliers, including audits and scorecards

Required Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant role or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a Quality Manager or similar quality leadership role
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards
- Proven solid auditing experience (internal and external)
- Proven ability to interpret and analyse data to support decision making
- Demonstrated excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated solid organisational and problem solving abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency with QMS software, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lead Auditor qualification
- Proven experience with additional standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Proven supplier performance and quality management experience
