About This Role
Basic technical degree with 5 years of relevant experience or 5 years of experience in the Aviation Industry with sufficient knowledge of Quality Management System in Aviation environment.
Possessing a Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License is an added advantage
Having Quality Auditor's Training certificate.
Practical experience and expertise in the application of Aviation Safety standards and safe operating practices.
A comprehensive knowledge of relevant parts of operational requirements and procedures.
Knowledge of Quality Systems.
Thorough knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition and Maintenance Organization Manual.
Familiarity with Human Factor Principles.
The Quality Manager is employed by the organization to provide an independent audit of the following functions:
Compliance with CAR·M
Monitoring all subcontract activities.
He/ She is also responsible to give authorization to the AME as per their license in accordance with CAR 66.
He/ She is also responsible to ensure thorough surveillance and audit of the data provided by the CAM to MO for carrying out any repair/ modification have been processed as per laid down procedure of AAC 02 of 2013, so that they are appropriate/ adequate and there is no discrepancy in quality of data.
He/ She is also responsible for reporting any occurrences of maintenance nature to DGCA and Manufacturer.
He/ She is also responsible for submitting action taken reports on Form CA 2001 to DGCA for findings by DGCA audits.
