Position Details:
- Strategic Leadership: Participate in setting and executing quality strategies, cascading goals to the team, and holding the group accountable for results.
- Lead Quality Group: Drive quality initiatives to meet company targets, focusing on improving quality, delivery, and performance.
- Quality Management System (QMS) Progression: Continuously improve the QMS in accordance with ISO9001, applicable standards, and best practices. Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO9001 certifications through internal and external audits.
- KPI/Quality Metrics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Possess a continuous improvement mindset and implement lean practices in all aspects of work.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Foster a culture of quality by working closely with cross-functional teams (operations, engineering, sales, and supply chain) to integrate compliance and continuous improvement efforts.
- Supplier Quality Management: Oversee supplier quality processes, including audits, qualification, and performance monitoring.
- Nonconforming Material & CAPA: Manage nonconforming materials and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, from investigation to corrective action implementation.
- Process Audits: Conduct regular audits of production processes to assess and improve compliance and quality standards.
- Quality Data Analysis: Analyze data from quality inspections and audits, identify trends, and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
- Complaints Management: Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and regulatory compliant documentation.
- Training Programs: Develop and implement training on best practices, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
- Mentor & Lead Team: Manage and mentor the quality team, providing training and ensuring professional growth and effective performance.
- Customer and Supplier Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries from customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Document Control: Ensure proper documentation control and record-keeping in compliance with regulatory requirements. Administer Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and post-implementation actions.
- Administrative Functions: Oversee personnel functions, including recruiting, hiring, reviewing and approving job descriptions and salary classifications, selection and placement of personnel, performance evaluations, and salary adjustments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other related field
- 3-5+ years’ experience in quality management

Physical Demands:
- Normal working conditions absent extreme factors
- Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and fellow employees
- Must be able to lift up to 45lbs periodically
- Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree related to Quality or Business Administration or other related field
- Management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced in Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and internal customers both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control/Six Sigma
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS)
