We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team to oversee the hardware assembly process at multiple assembly facilities in the Maryland, Virginia, DC, Pennsylvania area supporting large scale government programs. As a Quality Manager you will create quality procedures, specifications, and standards to ensure products meet standards at various assembly stages. You will also be responsible for collecting data and analyzing it to prepare reports documenting any quality issues encountered. This position requires 25% on-site time in King George VA and travel in the Maryland, Virginia, and DC area.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, industrial science, or statistics, or a related field or applicable work experience.
- Secret security clearance.
- Seven years of Quality Manager experience, preferably in the government sector.
- A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach.
- Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and pose solutions to those flaws.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports.
- In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor, inspect, and evaluate products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop and update testing-related documentation, including test cases, plans, and flaw-reporting procedures. Identify issues with production-related processes and recommend improvements.
- Analyze product design to identify design flaws and to ensure stability and quality.
- Document and compile observation data for future analyses.
- Manage and maintain test case procedures and implement automated testing processes where possible.
- Review processes and submit lean recommendations.
As a Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality in the hardware assembly process. Your expertise in understanding customer needs particularly in the government space, and devising and reviewing specifications for products and processes will contribute to the success of large scale government projects. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, interacting with various stakeholders.
