We are searching for a Quality Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for achieving results through establishing and following work programs and plans to ensure the measuring and certification of quality levels reached during the productive process according to normativity and corporate standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Establishes and gives monitoring to plans and programs of improvement of the organization.
  • Carries out strategic planning for the reach of the organization's goals.
  • Responsible for the productive process that concludes with products and/or services in the quality standards based on the corresponding regulations.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the necessary processes for the quality management system were established, implemented, and maintained.
  • Reports performance, evaluating and promoting the client's requirements at all levels of the organization to assess customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the analysis of the process and of the statistical information that results from the inspection or audit of quality.
  • Identifies areas of opportunity and develops better processes of quality.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a quality position, manufacturing process, or similar.
  • Working Knowledge of TPS / Lean Manufacturing practices. (A3, PDCA, 5S, Kaizen Activities, Poke-Yoke, ISO)
  • Demonstrated management skills, including structured work, training and coaching, and teamwork approach. Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage conflicts.
  • Ability to solve problems using the scientific method and coach others to solve problems (Six Sigma Green Belt required)
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Shop floor focus and hands-on mentality
  • Bi-lingual (English & Spanish)
