Price Industries is seeking a Quality Manager in our Casa Grande, AZ plant to provide leadership, influence, and direction for Quality Assurance activities in assigned facilities by building effective working relationships with all related groups and people, participating in the standardization of quality systems and processes, and developing and executing continuous improvement plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership - Participate in reviews and QA team development to strengthen the skills of associates in the areas of leadership, customer support, problem-solving, etc. Work with senior management to resolve associate performance issues as needed. Create and maintain an environment that promotes teamwork, responsiveness, efficiency, and a positive working environment.
Brand Promise - Ensure Price's quality reputation throughout the extended supply chain. Ensure corporate-wide compliance with the Quality System. Participate in the management of product returns, recall, and containment processes.
Quality Management Review - Maintain and communicate corporate quality-related metrics to ensure clear visibility and understanding of our current state of product quality and of the quality system. Develop and complete plans to address critical areas for improvement via an annual Corporate Quality Assurance Plan. Facilitate the Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement agenda for monthly meetings. Participate in service group quality review meetings and ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve quality problems at the local, service group, and/or corporate level.
Product Quality Planning - Ensure appropriate development, implementation, communication, and adoption of the Product Quality Planning Program. Sponsor and help steer the selection, development, enhancement, and/or implementation of Information Systems needed to enable Quality Systems and Product Quality Planning process.
Ensure Compliance - Ensure corporate-wide compliance to the company's Quality System.
Audit Management - Manage the annual Audit Plan for assigned location(s). Manage the internal Quality System audits and document any non-conformance within the Quality System. Ensure compliance of external Quality Process audits
Corrective Actions - Oversee the effective management of the corrective action process, ensuring proper priority, ownership, and accountability for adding and closing all corrective actions while providing assistance to the corrective action owners to ensure effectiveness. Facilitate the Corporate Corrective Action Review.
Communication - Develop and conduct effective corporate-wide quality assurance awareness programs.
Standardization I Efficiency - Continually look for ways to improve methods and documentation for all business processes related to quality. Establish quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and with production operators, technicians, and engineers.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).

Advanced degree in engineering or management is a plus.

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing-based role, preferably with a discrete manufacturing process and multiple sites.

Demonstrated computer-based skills.

Familiarity with ISO certification process.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, technical drawings and contract specifications.

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact well with customers on the phone and in person.

Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
SPECIAL TRAINING

ISO 9001 auditor training would be a plus.

Six Sigma training would be a plus.

Familiarity with AutoCAD technical drawing software or equivalent.
