Job Description:
At our Kechnec manufacturing facility, we are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality function and support our commitment to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, food safety and continuous improvement.
Mission
To lead the plant Quality function and ensure that quality, food safety and customer requirements are consistently achieved. The role is responsible for maintaining and improving Quality Management Systems, supporting operational performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and developing a high-performing Quality team.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the plant Quality Management System and ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory standards.
- Manage customer audits, quality complaints, corrective actions and reporting activities.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality assurance processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Monitor and control quality-related costs, including customer claims, spoilage and sorting activities.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and other functions to achieve business objectives.
- Lead, coach and develop the Quality team to ensure a strong quality culture and continuous capability development.
Knowledge & Experience
- University degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technologies or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality standards.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving tools.
- Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent English and Slovak language skills.

Skills Required
