Skills Required
- HACCP and/or Preventive Controls Qualified Individual training or relevant experience
- 5+ years of supervisory experience (people and team leadership)
- 5+ years of food safety/quality system management experience
- Demonstrated experience with GFSI quality system implementation and management (SQF practitioner)
- Experience with FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Strong interpersonal, team building, oral communication, customer-facing and presentation skills
- Strong project management and planning skills
- Demonstrated data analysis and statistical process control skills
- Proven continuous improvement accomplishments (reduce/prevent internal failures, right-first-time)
- Strong documentation skills and record keeping
- Coaching and talent development experience
- Proficient in MS Office and strong computer literacy
- BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science or related field
- Demonstrated SQF implementation skills
- Food defense training or relevant experience
- Strong regulatory awareness in the food sector
- Knowledge in Sanitation Programs
- Experience with Environmental Monitoring Programs
