JOB PURPOSE
This role exists to drive excellence in quality management across the Home Care and Personal Care manufacturing operations in Nyírbátor, ensuring the highest standards of product quality, consumer safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. The Quality Manager will lead the site quality agenda, strengthen quality systems and capabilities, and partner with local and regional stakeholders to deliver sustainable business performance and innovation success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and develop the site Quality team across Home Care and Personal Care operations, fostering high-performing, collaborative, and and continuous improvement culture.
- Define, deploy, and monitor quality KPIs, translating performance data into actionable improvement plans that enhance product quality and operational excellence.
- Own and execute the site Quality Masterplan, ensuring alignment with global standards, business priorities, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the site quality management system, ensuring effective governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Lead internal and external quality audits, coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and ensure sustained compliance outcomes.
- Partner with suppliers and external stakeholders to strengthen supplier quality performance and proactively address quality risks.
- Collaborate with Innovation, SUIT, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful implementation of innovation projects, process changes, and new technologies.
- Lead incident investigations, consumer complaint analysis, and root cause elimination activities to prevent recurrence and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage quality-related budgets, training programs, hygiene standards, and capability-building initiatives across the site.
- Support the factory’s LEAN and UMS programs while championing the implementation of global quality standards and best practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Microbiology, Pharmacy or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an advanced quality management, senior specialist, or quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, audit management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Fluent Hungarian and professional proficiency in English are required.
- Advanced digital literacy, including Microsoft Office applications, data analytics tools, AI-enabled solutions, and digital quality systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Home Care and Personal Care manufacturing environments, particularly with liquid products and aerosol technologies.
- Previous experience leading multi-disciplinary quality teams within a fast-paced FMCG organization.
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing systems, UMS methodologies, and supplier quality management practices.
- ISO audit certification.
