Purpose of Role: The Quality Manager will drive business to our quality strategy of zero defects. They will develop and administer quality control programs, supervise and direct quality team members, maintain metrics, and ensure prompt responses to customer quality concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer QMS:  Develop and administer the company quality management system. Develop and maintain a suite of metrics and tracking mechanisms that indicate the health of the Quality Management System; communicate results at least monthly to the management team.

  • Oversee Quality Specifications: Develop Quality Control Plan and process control procedures that will ensure production of finished products which meet quality specifications and standards. Direct and coordinate the overall quality specifications and standards for raw materials, processes and finished products

  • Customer and Supplier Relations: Contact customers and suppliers to confer on specific quality problems and ensure that established quality control procedures and policies are coordinated throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with government regulation

  • Supervise and Manager Personnel:  Supervise and direct activities of QC staff, machine shop inspection personnel and inventory personnel to provide the environment, necessary training and assistance to each employee supervised to permit growth and development.

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience

  • Experience managing a quality team

  • ISO 9001 experience

  • Degree (Engineering) is preferred
