Your Role

As the Quality Manager, you will serve as a leader and mentor at the core of our Production Unit in Scottdale (PA). You will lead a team of 4 dedicated quality professionals, responsible for overseeing all quality aspects across 2 production mills focused on manufacturing high-precision stainless tube products. These products cater to demanding markets such as Aerospace and Nuclear sectors. Your role will play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence, ensuring high levels of quality, innovation, and compliance for our customers.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Safety First ! Ensuring your department meets the required safety and environmental standards and that employees receive the necessary EHS training

  • Lead and manage a team of Quality Professionals, providing guidance, clear responsibilities & priorities, organizing work, training and development opportunities, with fostering a culture of excellence and be a Champion of continuous improvement and lead cross- functional teams to identify opportunities for quality process optimization.

  • Promote a Customer Focus mindset with implementing principles and quality methodologies to drive efficiency and mitigate quality issues.

  • Develop and maintain a robust quality management system in accordance with industry standards (e.g., AS9100, NQA-1) with driving continuous improvement initiatives,

  • Responsible for internal and external audits from planification to drive effectiveness resolution and implementation of corrective and preventive actions,

  • Oversee and support new products qualification ensuring adherence to customers specifications and industry standards and manage internal and customers product conformity issues with relevant investigation and implementing sustainable solutions,

About you

We are looking for an engaging and motivating leader with a passion for excellence and a knack for problem-solving and with the following background bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) and experience in quality management systems and auditing processes and certifications requirements is a requirement for this role. Ideally, we see you have experience in quality management within the technical metallurgy industry, with a focus on aerospace and nuclear applications.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
