Job Description:

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Quality Manager at 3M Peltor Värnamo Sweden, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading the Quality team in Varnamo
• Actively participating in the day-to-day operations, specifically daily tier process
• Support the manufacturing with quality investigations including incoming material, production and supplier deviations
• Creating and updating operating procedures and test methods
• Participate in projects regarding improve safety, quality, productivity, service and cost
• Support NPI/CMP projects
• Connecting with other 3M PSD (Personal Safety Division) locations in Europe and USA

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• Two (2) years of experience as a Quality Manager or similar role
• Previous people management experience
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Good skills in project management
• Skills in statistics are preferable
• Skills in ISO-9001 and 14001 standards are preferable
• Easy to build your own network booth internal and external

Job specifics:

• Location: 3M Sweden, Varnamo manufacturing site
• On-site role
• Working pattern: full time
