WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

This role is the Anoka Quality leader for nVent’s Hoffman enclosure products. You will be responsible for the strategy, leadership, and execution of the Quality function at both the Anoka main plant and the stainless steel plant. This is a high‑impact, highly visible role within a growing manufacturing environment, offering significant opportunity to influence quality strategy, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

In this role you will:

  • Represent the Quality Assurance function as the primary customer liaison for nVent Hoffman, supporting customer engagement and supplier quality management.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals, fostering engagement, capability growth, and performance excellence.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

  • Oversee quality control activities including inspection, testing, data analysis, and non‑conformance management.

  • Develop and manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.

  • Serve as a quality project leader and structured problem‑solving expert, driving initiatives across the Quality function and cross‑functional teams.

  • Lead and promote continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.

  • Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for supplier qualifications, new product launches, and engineering changes.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor of Science degree required

  • Professional quality certifications such as CQE, CQM, or CQA (preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality systems

  • 2+ years of people leadership experience

  • Working knowledge of Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, MDI, etc.)

  • Experience with ISO management systems (ISO 9001, 13485, 17025, etc.)

  • Proficiency with enterprise quality systems and tools such as Intelex, TrackWise, CATSWEB, or similar platforms

Pay Transparency
 
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
 
Compensation Range:

$105,000.00 - $195,000.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.

Skills Required
