Position Purpose:

The main purpose of a QMS auditor is to perform ISO 9001 internal Quality Management System audits for all certified areas, or areas seeking certification, as compliant to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard.

Logistics:

This is a Full-time onsite position located at 12377 Merit Drive, Dallas, TX 75251.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform ISO 9001 Quality Management System process audits for all functional areas, as required by direct management, the ISO standard and senior management.

  • Collect data by function and organization for measuring and monitoring audit activity and audit results, and collect data as needed for management review meetings.

  • Support audit system. Report on audit results including reviewing, organizing, analyzing and consolidating objective evidence and audit findings by function and organization to follow up on audit findings and corrective actions. May assist with external ISO reregistration and surveillance audits.


Required Education:

  • Bachelor's


Degree Equivalency:

  • Associates degree plus an extra 2 years' related work experience for a total of 5 years required experience.

OR

  • 7 years required work experience (please see required work experience below).

Required Work Experience:

  • 3 years-working with quality management or with quality management systems implementation.

  • 1 year-auditing in accordance with ISO 9001. Experience may be concurrent.


Specialized Training:

  • ISO 9001 quality management system standard auditor training.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be organized and be able to multi-task.

  • Must be capable of performing process audits.

  • Must have excellent communication and written skills and be able to work well under pressure.


Required Software and Tools:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.


Preferred Work Experience:

  • 4 years of full-time experience in ISO auditing.

  • Experience leading ISO audits.

  • Process measurement and management, facilitation, and team skills all a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Visio and Compliance 360 software.


Preferred Licenses and Certificates:

  • American Society for Quality Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent.
