- Inspecting parts produced by the production team
- Follow nonconformance procedure when defects are found
- Follow daily EOL inspection document procedure
- Communicate found defects with production team members per procedure
Secondary Functions:
- Performs other related duties as assigned by quality engineer / manager
Specialized Training, Skills, Abilities, Experience:
- Previous experience in quality systems.
- Previous tier one automotive experience desirable.
- Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- Factory environment with noise from manufacturing equipment. Exposure to dangerous equipment.
- Possible serious injury due to carelessness around equipment.
- Sometimes lifts, carries or moves objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for more than 8 hours per day.
Skills Required
- Previous experience in quality systems
- Previous tier one automotive experience
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Experience inspecting parts and following nonconformance procedures
- Experience with end-of-line (EOL) inspection procedures
- Ability to lift, carry, or move objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for more than 8 hours per day in a factory environment
