WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Quality Improvement Specialist is an exempt position responsible for monitoring and evaluating programs and services; establishing and implementing internal control systems to monitor compliance; and ensuring performance and efficiency.

  • Conduct quality program reviews.
  • Prepare monitoring reports.
  • Assist and support programs to identify areas of needed improvement and best practices.
  • Ensure Corrective Action Plans, external and internal, are developed and submitted; monitor the process to ensure completion of the corrective action plan.
  • Review all significant incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with accreditation, standards, and regulations that are required by the agency and assigned programs.
  • Assist the Director in funder-related activities, including audits and meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with two (2) years’ experience working in a human services field.
    • In place of a degree, relevant multiple years of experience may substitute.
  • Computer-literate and competent in using Microsoft Office Suites, SharePoint
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry office supplies, files, etc., up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to travel to meet the needs of the programs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with current auto insurance coverage.
