Foundation Health Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Improvement Specialist to support our mission of delivering consistent, high-quality care and service to our community. Pay & Benefits:

  • Compensation: $36.44 to $58.30 hourly wage based on experience and education
  • Relocation Assistance: up to $7,500 Relocation Assistance
  • Temporary Housing: 90 Days Temporary Housing Provided

Responsibilities
  • Supports staff, departments, and leaders in continuous improvement activities and projects to include rapid improvement and improving flow events, value stream mapping, standard work, process improvement projects, and support to Quality Team.
  • Educates and facilitates organization quality management system and programs, improvement activities, and tools.
  • Provides ongoing assessment of performance, analyzes clinical outcome data, and identifies performance improvement opportunities or trends. Conducts high level assessments, gathers information and collaborates with the appropriate process owner(s) to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyzes data for administrative and clinical decision making.
  • Facilitates prioritization of improvement activities with system and facility leadership.
  • Initiates and oversees performance improvement projects in collaboration with project lead.
  • Serves as a resource and/or facilitates improvement teams to plan, implement, and coordinate entity activities to maximize clinical and operational outcomes.
  • Participates on improvement teams, guiding them on the system defined improvement process.
  • Serves as a resource for assessment of clinical performance and performance improvement methodologies throughout the facility and system.
Qualifications
  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, science, business, engineering or related field OR a clinical background with current license/certification or equivalent experience.
  • Requires a proficiency level typically attained with five (5) years acute care, healthcare, process improvement, safety or quality management experience.
  • Requires ability to perform complex statistical analysis and highly developed problem solving skills. Requires the ability to manage programs and projects. Requires demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and written communication skills.

Prferred Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification is preferred.
  • Experience with process improvement, regulatory/accreditation programs, data management, and analysis including graphic development and presentations is highly desirable.
  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, science, business, engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a clinical background with current license or certification or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of experience in acute care, healthcare, process improvement, safety, or quality management.
  • Ability to perform complex statistical analysis.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage programs and projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification.
  • Experience with process improvement, regulatory or accreditation programs, data management and analysis, graphic development, and presentations.
  • Additional related education or experience.
