Supports healthcare quality and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Evaluates workflows, analyzes clinical and administrative performance data, identifies improvement opportunities, facilitates quality teams, educates staff on improvement methodologies, and oversees performance improvement projects. Collaborates with leaders and process owners to prioritize initiatives and improve clinical and operational outcomes.

Oversees CMS Quality Payment Programs, Alternative Payment Models, and other value-based reimbursement initiatives. Monitors regulatory changes, incentive metrics, financial impacts, and performance dashboards; develops workflows, action plans, education, and cross-functional project plans. Partners with Finance, Quality, Clinical Informatics, IT, providers, and leadership on regulatory submissions, EMR changes, reporting, and strategies to maximize incentives and reduce penalties.

Coordinates patient billing, payment posting, collections, claims research, denials, refunds, payment plans, and accounts receivable activities. Reconciles accounts, researches payment discrepancies, submits appeals and corrections, communicates with payers and provider offices, responds to billing inquiries, documents account activity, and supports reduction of outstanding patient balances while meeting quality and productivity goals.

Provides outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal services, routine gynecology, contraception counseling, menopause management, and women’s health evaluations. Participates in shared call coverage and collaborates with hospitalists, community OB/GYN providers, and the Alaska Native health system. Maintains medical licensure, board eligibility or certification, DEA registration, hospital privileges, strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to quality patient care.

Greets and registers pediatric patients, verifies insurance and authorizations, schedules appointments, collects copayments, and maintains accurate records. Provides financial counseling, explains policies and forms, supports payment assistance, and resolves issues with patients, billing teams, payors, and clinical staff. May perform bedside registration, deposits, patient transport, training, and other patient financial services duties while meeting productivity and compliance standards.

Provides inpatient pharmaceutical care by reviewing medication orders, assessing drug therapy, recommending treatment improvements, dispensing medications and IV solutions, and monitoring patient outcomes. Supervises pharmacy technicians and interns, maintains controlled-substance and medication records, communicates medication guidance to care teams, and complies with pharmacy laws, accreditation standards, and hospital procedures.

Provides outpatient cardiovascular care, including diagnosis, prevention, and short- and long-term management of heart conditions. Performs and interprets nuclear cardiolite studies, exercise stress tests, transesophageal echocardiograms, ECGs, echocardiograms, Holter and event monitors, electrical cardioversions, and loop recorder placements. Collaborates with interventional cardiologists and advanced practice providers while maintaining clinical privileges, quality care, and strong patient communication.

Provides inpatient pediatric care in a community hospital, covering the newborn nursery, Level 2 NICU, pediatrics unit, emergency department and surgery consultations. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, stabilizing patients before transport, supervising rotating residents and medical students, and participating in medical staff leadership. The role requires approximately six to seven 24-hour shifts monthly with 24/7 team coverage.

Provides routine patient care and unit support under Registered Nurse supervision. Prepares operating rooms, selects instruments and supplies, maintains aseptic technique, scrubs and assists during Cesarean sections, and supports surgical procedures. Educates and mentors pharmacy technicians, apprentices, preceptors, pharmacists, and other healthcare staff. Develops and delivers pharmacy training curricula, evaluates competencies, provides feedback, supports onboarding, and promotes professional development. Serves as a resource for automated dispensing systems and sterile product compliance while performing pharmacy technician duties such as packaging, distribution, and record keeping. Participates in committees, shared leadership, quality initiatives, and inpatient pharmacy operations.

Processes and audits payroll, timekeeping, taxes, deductions, garnishments, levies, accruals, and adjustments. Maintains payroll and timekeeping systems, troubleshoots issues, creates reports and audit queries, corrects pay errors, prepares W-2s, supports accounting research, and assists employees and managers with time and attendance systems. Provides training and can perform the full payroll process when the payroll manager is absent.

Performs radiographic procedures, evaluates image quality, educates patients, supports invasive or interventional procedures when applicable, maintains equipment and safety standards, troubleshoots technical issues, manages supplies, and follows regulatory and professional requirements. The role requires collaboration, patient-focused communication, ethical practice, and participation in call and holiday coverage.

Performs cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring, circulating, imaging, medication administration, documentation, equipment quality control, radiation safety, patient education, and supply management. Works rotating on-call shifts while ensuring regulatory, professional, and patient-care standards. Requires accredited radiologic, cardiovascular, or invasive specialist training, ARRT or RCIS certification, BLS, ALS, and at least one year of cardiac cath lab experience.

Welcomes patients, schedules appointments, completes registration, verifies insurance, obtains authorizations, calculates patient liability, collects payments, and documents patient information. Provides financial counseling, assists with financial assistance applications, resolves billing and registration issues with patients, payors, and clinical staff, and supports accurate reimbursement and regulatory compliance in a busy outpatient clinic environment.

Provides temporary administrative and clerical support across Foundation Health Partners departments. Responsibilities include data entry, document scanning and filing, report maintenance, telephone and visitor assistance, office supply management, mail and fax handling, and distributing supplies, records, specimens, or equipment. The role requires confidentiality, accuracy, organization, customer service, communication, multitasking, and compliance with established procedures.

Works under pharmacist supervision in a hospital pharmacy, preparing, packaging, compounding, labeling, and distributing medications, including intravenous, chemotherapy, and nutrition products. Maintains medication inventory, automated dispensing systems, quality-control records, and documentation. Assists with medication assessments, physician recommendations, and medication information for clinical staff while supporting patient care and regulatory compliance.

Provides outpatient psychological testing, individual psychotherapy, new-patient referral screening, and waitlist management for patients across the lifespan. Works collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychologists to deliver behavioral health care. The role serves approximately seven patients daily in a weekday outpatient clinic and requires licensed psychological practice, diagnostic knowledge, and expertise in psychological assessment and psychotherapy.
