Job Description

Key Purpose of the Job:

Lead continuous improvement at the factory through proper quality initiatives, prevention and risk management. Must be able to directly influence factory QMS through a close working relationship with key vendor and factory quality personnel. Be accountable for delivering consistently high-quality product as measured through all QM KPIs/Metrics. Act as a coach and mentor for the local QA team as well as all factory QA.

Key Area of Responsibility:


  • Ability to act as SME in projects and SOPs also provide training on assigned topics for associates and factories.
  • Support and monitor factory accredited lab testing SOP against Brand standards and Industrial/Country requirements
  • Evaluate new vendors to identify factory quality set up, technical support, and product capability & production capacity.
  • Support and train the local teams and factories on VCP program execution
  • To support conducting Factory Process Audit and coaching QE/QA and FKR how to conduct it
  • To proactively seek for opportunity for upstream prevention management and mitigate risk by using Risk Base program to best allocate resource needed. 
  • Manage and appropriately escalate risks, issues and points of concern to Regional Manager
  • With the support of data analytics, manage vendor performance and drive continuous improvement within the supply base and within your team
  • Foster a strong culture of continuous improvement
  • To continually reviews ways of working, process alignment and team capabilities to optimize efficiencies
  • To ensure the team are fully aware of their respective roles & responsibilities and that they have the tools to do their job
  • To ensure there is a high degree of engagement between the team at brand, vendor and regional cross functional teams
  • Engaged/participate on projects and actively identify, propose new ideas for projects. Create opportunities for the team to be involved in cross brand / cross functional activities

  • Good analytical and problem solving skill
  • Familiar with 5S / ISO 9001 / 8D problem solving
  • Knowledge in SPC, CPK and Six Sigma disciplines, FMEA would be advantageous
  • Garments manufacturing: Sewing, Construction and Factory Operations Knowledge
