Role Summary:
As a QA /HSE Engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality, HSE programs and procedures. This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You’ll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities. it also involves compliance to HSE regulatory requirement, implementation of HSE policies and procedures, manage risk, impact aspect.
Responsibilities & Requirements:

Coordinate with production in order to plan and execute inbound and production checks

Manage relations with customers or third party inspectors
-
Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits
-
Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events

Monitor product portfolio KPIs and drive effective root cause corrective actions where appropriate to address gaps to agreed targets

Manage customer witness inspections
-
Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality

Create awareness in the Leadership community regarding what opportunities have been discovered or developed and how to realize them

Collaborate with the department or other company departments to clarify / resolve issues techniques related to QC activities.

Offer all documents as per QAP to customer after coordinating with internal departments and closing all documentation queries

Represent the company with regulatory agencies as well as develop and submit required regulatory reports
Provide leadership to site safety training, employee development and preparedness to include but not limited to:

Develop innovative strategies and programs for improving safety awareness and foster a safe culture

Facilitate and lead employee safety training, new employee safety orientation and workplace health activities.

Lead and further develop the site Safety Committee to include evaluating overall effectiveness, priorities and establish goals for the committee.

Coordinate all Emergency Response team initiatives and ensure all individuals are trained to handle emergency situations.

Develop and implement site emergency preparedness initiative to include evacuation plans, response to environmental threats and business continuity planning, etc.
Preferred Experience / Skills:

- Experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies

Experience in QA/QC, HSE department

Understanding of product / process flow

Strong organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Engineering Graduate, preferably mechanical/ or 5 years relevant experience
