Quality HSE Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Ensure systems are in place that results in quality parts being delivered to our customers on time
• Helps drive a continuous improvement culture by identifying and resolving issues that can cause the business not to achieve its quality targets
• Investigates all non-conformances with the result that the same quality issues do not re-occur
• Develop policies, processes and training that ensures risk of associate injury is minimal
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures
• Perform internal audits to improve the system and identify non-conformances in QMS and processes
• Coordinate and perform supplier audits to ensure that we have desired quality on incoming products
• Coordinate and perform supplier training on quality and HSE systems
• Familiarize with and comply with Company’s procedures
• Individual must be able to prioritize tasks and coordinate efforts with numerous departments.  Must be able to complete projects and implement improvements in an expedient manner in a fast-paced environment.   Must also be flexible in accepting responsibilities and assignments, as the needs and the staffing of the facility change   
• Travel to other Freudenberg Flow Technologies facilities, customers and suppliers are sometimes required.   Obtaining cooperation and support from individuals who report to another manager is sometimes a challenge, requiring the QHSSE Coordinator to utilize effective communication skills and project management techniques
• Depending on functional area this position is backed up by all Department Managers in addition to Quality Controller and Document Controller

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited University in Engineering or Manufacturing Management or equivalent work experience 
• Experience with SAP or similar software is required
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills Well organized, detail-oriented self-starter.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Confident, self-motivated, extremely driven to succeed, and track record of past success in Quality and HSE performance.
• Ability to travel occasionally overnight and/or internationally
• Engineering Certification and/or extensive related training in all areas of industrial plant operations, safety, maintenance and team-based leadership
• Good knowledge of relevant technology, machinery, maintenance, production processes, controls, planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety specifically ISO 14001 and 45001
• Certified lead auditor for ISO 9001/2015, ISO 14001, and or ISO 45001
• Experience in industrial plant operations, preferably in a similar industry with a team-based environment.
• Knowledge in QMS systems with specific knowledge in ISO 9001, API Q1, API 6A
• Knowledge in QMS Audit processes and objectively evaluating system and processes thought the business
• Experience can replace official education
• Significant experience and training in quality and HSE are also highly desirable
