About the Role
Carrier is seeking a candidate to develop and deploy global quality policies, procedures, and training, driving cultural transformation and continuous improvement through quality tools and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of key performance metrics and the ability to design programs that support customer and stakeholder objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and drive performance metrics through clear policies, procedures, and standard work.
Develop and deliver quality training for site, regional, and global audiences.
Own the end-to-end quality training portfolio, from content development through global deployment.
Coach and mentor teams as needed to support Carrier’s Quality strategy and objectives.
Support tactical quality initiatives, including PFMEA, Quality Clinics, QMS Assessments, Process Certification, and comprehensive product and process audits.
Develop quality policies aligned with leadership goals and business objectives.
Coordinate policy deployment across Quality, EH&S, and Operations.
Build and sustain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Aftermarket, Regional Quality, and Product Management, to ensure alignment and execution.
Provide direct support for critical business needs as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Lean Manufacturing experience.
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Process Engineering, Operations, or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in quality management, manufacturing, or engineering, applying quality tools such as APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and RCA.
Proven success applying structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, RCA, A3) with measurable results.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Willingness to travel approximately 30–40%
