Quality Engineering Lead
Newton, MA
This is an onsite position in our Newton, MA office.
Responsibilities: Establish purpose and deliverables for all test efforts. Create and execute detailed test cases based on functional specifications. Develop test plans and test strategy documents based on business requirements. Review test plans with project team and garner feedback. Modify and maintain existing test cases as needed based on updated functionality. Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, system, regression and user acceptance testing. Report, review and retest defects and ensure that all important defects have been resolved at the appropriate level prior to product release. Participate in defect triage discussions. Automate test cases using industry standard tools as required by the project.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and three years of experience in testing web-based/mobile applications. Experience must include three years each of the following: industry standard defect management tools; work with offshore development and testing teams; SOX compliance and audits. Must have completed or be working towards industry standard testing certification. Experience may be gained concurrently.
