The opportunity:

The Imaging Platforms team is building the cloud-based framework on which multimodal imaging-based applications can be researched, developed and deployed for drug discovery and diagnostics. The Imaging Platform Engineering team is responsible for platform deliveries, architecture and implementation including the development, testing, deployment, operation and support of software. 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Engineering Lead/ Senior Automation Tester to join our team. This hands-on role requires a professional who can both effectively manage and lead test teams while also dedicating significant time to hands-on testing, test development and quality framework improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvements, test management and automation testing development, with a focus on improving software quality through best practices and innovative testing approaches.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of testers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship while developing comprehensive test plans, strategies, and schedules.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript/JavaScript and Cypress, and conduct API testing to validate backend integration and functionality.

  • Implement software development best practices, including shift-left testing approaches, and develop and maintain SDLC documentation and procedures. Apply knowledge of Computerized System Validation (CSV) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Who you are:

  • You have proven experience in automating tests and demonstrated capability in managing and leading test teams.

  • You possess advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Cypress.

  • You have familiarity with Node.js, and have utilized it in enhancing automation testing capabilities.

  • You have proficiency in using test management tools such as Jira and XRay.

  • You have experience in API testing to validate the integration and functionality of backend services.

  • You are familiar with software development best practices and the shift-left approach.

  • You have the ability to develop and maintain Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation and procedures.

  • You are capable of performing manual testing when needed to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Java and/or Python.

  • Experience in imaging including digital pathology, radiology and/or ophthalmology.

  • You possess knowledge of Computerized System Validation (CSV) and can ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Salary range 17 000 - 22 000 PLN gross based on the employment contract (Umowa o pracę),
