Summary of Position

The Quality Engineering Intern for the Quality Engineering Molding team will work closely with Quality Engineer Team to help execute and drive project deliverables to closure per project schedule and drive standards across the molding central metrology labs in both the Clinton and Devens Jabil Healthcare facilities. This internship will be designed to simultaneously fulfill business needs, while offering ample hands-on training opportunities in injection molding quality engineering, including Mold Validation/Qualifications, Data Analysis, Metrology, Root Cause Analysis, Inspection methods, and continuous improvement.

Intern Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure qualification/validation runs are performed to documented requirements (Validation Master Plan)
• Coordinate metrology first article inspection, process capability studies, and review visual aids.
• Create Predysis Part Files as needed.
• Perform data analysis to effectively communicate results to the Quality and Project Teams
• Write Summary Report and Prepare Validation/Qualification Binders
• Support continuous improvement projects as needed.
• Create/Update forms and work Instructions as needed
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Major: Mechanical, Manufacturing,, Industrial, Chemical, or other related majors
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited university graduating between 2025 - 2027
• GPA: Min 3.0
• Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
• Experience using Minitab/Excel for data analysis is required
• Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Controls) is required
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills required
• Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills required
• Strong technical writing skills, including work instruction / procedure, testing protocol and summary report creation required
• Experience with SAP, Predisys and Adobe Write applications preferred
• Experience in Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) preferred
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma preferred
