Main duties and responsibilities:
• Ensures and manages independent laboratory quality control in accordance with QAS and internal quality procedures.
• Manages the quality laboratory, including organizing measurements, tests, and archiving samples.
• Leads the quality/laboratory team, coordinates priorities, provides professional competencies, training, coaching, and regular feedback to team members.
• Supports production in achieving quality goals, resolving non-conformities, and monitoring compliance with quality procedures and operator self-control.
• Cooperates in production trials, first productions and tests; He/She comments on the quality of trial and first productions.
• Cooperates in blocking and unblocking materials, semi-finished products, and finished products.
• Cooperates in investigating the causes of customer, supplier and internal complaints; informs production about complaints in a timely manner.
• Performs RCA, statistical analyses, evaluates measured quality results, monitors the effectiveness of measures, and prepares reports for quality meetings.
• Responsible for the service, calibration, recording, and functionality of laboratory instruments and equipment used for quality control.
• Provides analysis of reference samples and places orders for analysis of finished products to external laboratories according to sales, PdM or customer requirements.
• Maintains and further develops the quality management system, updates documentation, guidelines, work procedures and materials for improving quality systems.
• Supports internal and external audits, plant inspections, and oversees the timely closure of notifications and actions in the HSEQ system.
• Performs quality walks and records them in the OMS.
•Maintains the PUMA system and promotes a culture of product safety;
• Participates in HSEQ and continuous improvement projects.
• Leads the Traceability team, prepares the final report and ensures the annual traceability test.
• Manages and utilizes corporate quality information systems including TMES quality module, OMS, Power BI, PUMA, Eco-Online HSEQ, and SAP as needed.
• Responsible for random inspection of input raw materials in production, initiating complaints against suppliers, and communicating with purchasing.
• Proposes changes to product specifications (PDS) in collaboration with product management and the sales department.
• Represents the HSEQ Manager in the area of product quality and safety within the scope of the assignment.

Education:
• University II. degree with a technical, qualitative or related focus.
• Alternative relevant technical education supplemented with demonstrable experience in quality in a manufacturing environment.
Working experience:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, laboratory control or management systems; Experience in a manufacturing company is a prerequisite.
• Experience with ISO systems, internal/external audits, complaint handling, RCA, corrective and preventive measures.
• Experience in team management, laboratory, or paper/related manufacturing industry is an advantage.
Additional trainings, licenses:
• Training in quality management systems and ISO.
• Internal auditor / quality auditor or quality manager an advantage.
Language skills:
• Slovak language – fluent.
• English language, both spoken and written, min. B2.
